Blood Diamond Art, Ring and Story
Blood Diamond is an original watercolor painting on 180 cold press paper. This painting tells a sad story. One full of love, heartbreak and lessons learned. The artwork for Blood Diamond is of my actual wedding ring from my last marriage, with drips, or tears of blood upon it. I did this painting to help me emotionally get through what I was feeling at the time of my divorce. A marriage takes blood sweat and tears to make it work at times, and the ring with it's beautiful diamond is symbolic of a beautiful marriage and it's commitments. It's hard experiencing the loss of someone you've loved, and the relationship that you had together.
This painting now includes the real ring, with it's GIA documents and an Appraisal Report. It is an 18k Gold, 1 Carat Marquise Cut diamond ring with Very good cut, D Color and SI1 Clarity. Retail Valued at $7922.35 in 2010. This ring and this art belong together, along with a book detailing it's story and unique history. You are getting my story, told in my words and a look into my personal history.
This painting comes unframed, on 180lb cold press watercolor paper, allowing the buyer to choose the perfect frame.
